New methods for teaching of practical botany at the lessons and in exctracurricular activities
The author teaches biology at school for more than thirty years, twenty-four of which are in specialized chemical-biological classes. The article describes new approaches to conducting laboratory and practical classes on botany, practical application of materials collected by schoolchildren during excursions and field practice. It reflects practicable forms of project activities of students. Practical orientation for teaching botany as well as combination of traditional approaches and new technical resources will enhance the interest of today's students to the subject of study.
