Abstract:

The article is aimed to give a detailed analysis of derivative models of deadjective nouns. It explains the concept of „derivative model“ and it also depicts derivative models with the German and foreign suffixes based on the analysis of „Dictionary of word-formation elements of the German language“ by M. D. Stepanova. The article gives the analysis of viewpoints of researchers on the problem of allocation of word-formation meaning in the derivative. As a result, the following word-formation meanings of deadjective derivative models have been established: „the substantive not-procedural characteristic called motivating adjective“, „the condition, behavior of a person characterized by motivating adjective“, „the substantive characteristic as political, ideological, scientific or esthetic direction“, „the person as the characteristic carrier called motivating adjective“, „inanimate object as the characteristic carrier“.

Keywords:

derivation, a suffix derivative model, word-forming meaning, a deadjective noun.
