Functional reserves of the young men engaged skiing

Abstract: 

The developed situation with health of the population, especially youth, demands serious transformations as rising generation defines quality of personnel potential, the future of a national economy, its defensibility and health of the future generations of Russians. Employment by physical training and sports influence formation of the protective mechanisms warning development of negative tendencies in a state of health of rising generation of our country and in preventive maintenance of presenilation of the person.
The purpose of research was studying of morphy-functional and the psychological and physiological parameters of health of the young men, engaged skiing and not engaged sports activity. The young men who are going in for sports in a direction "cross-countries" (43 sportsmen), and students of NSPU, engaged by physical training in the basic medical group in the age of 17–21 years (31 students) - control group are surveyed.
It is shown, that employment by skiing promote development of functional reserves of an organism and to improvement of a psycho-emotional condition of sportsmen.
