It is concluded that the research problem is the key contradiction between the need to take into account the state of social health of modern youth in planning and implementing transformational processes in all spheres of public life in the regions of Russia and the lack of the latest systematic scientific knowledge on the social health of the younger generation. It is emphasized that the study of the social health of young people has a complex character and assumes a social dimension of the physical, psychological, social and spiritual resources of the modern young generation.
