2 Shandong Pedagogical University, People's Republic of China
In article the authors addresses to the analysis of a cultural universal “median” and its representations in the Siberian cultural text. Application of semiotics and axiological approaches to the analysis of materials of works of the Siberian writers advocating regional identity Siberia, G. D. Grebenshchikov, A. I. Makarova-Mirskaya, the missionary archpriest Vasily Verbitsky give the chance to interpret a concept of the median as finding of the third option between binary oppositions. It is emphasized that in the considered texts neutralization of binary oppositions in ethics is represented impossible owing to world outlook features of authors of cultural texts. The main binary oppositions, which are represented as border of cultural norm, are considered. Duality of universal structural components of language and culture is cultural norm which is consistently presented in works of the middle of the XIX century – the beginnings of the XX century and which starts being deformed in various options by an era of revolutions
