Abstract: 

Thanks to its geographical location in the Novosibirsk region is distinguished by great variety of flora, the flora of Novosibirsk region includes many species of plants from Central Europe and Northern Asia. Vegetation is represented by forest, marsh and meadow types. The region is home to more than 1 300 species of higher spore and seminal plants. The fauna of Novosibirsk region includes about ten thousand species of invertebrates and 475 species of vertebrate animals. Many rare and endangered species of animals listed in the Red books of Russian Federation and Novosibirsk region.
