Problem of education students in national identity work of domestic scientists in the end XVIII – early XX centuries
This article analyzes the major milestones in the development of ideas of national identity formation of students in the works of Russian scientists school geography education by means of the XVIII early XX centuries . Emphasizes that in the context of globalization disrupted reproduction national cultural codes that actualizes the problem of scientific research towards finding ways of creating, strengthening and development of national consciousness of pupils by means of geographical education. Features of formation of national consciousness of the period studied : understanding the contribution of the subject of geography in the process of spiritual and moral education of the younger generation , a close connection with the life of the learning process , family upbringing, Orthodox values -oriented service to the Fatherland , selfless work for the good of the state , the maintenance of national cultural traditions . Leading theoretician of the ideas of national identity means education subject was geography KD Ushinsky , who believed that "the most important thing in geography - the study of the native land and his country , that teaching must necessarily embody the principle of nationality." The main approaches to solving the identified problem at the turn of XVIII-XX centuries. - Is the realization of the ideas of ethnic, religious and moral education of students on the basis rodinovedcheskogo, regional geography and cultural studies approaches to teaching geography.
