Multimedia workshop “descriptive geometry and engineering graphics”: the development and implementation
In this article we want to present the project Multimedia course Descriptive geometry, Engineering Graphics and Computer graphics. The purpose of this project is creation of a modern educational complex, which focuses on the latest training technology. We have achieved two goals. First, we have created database of electronic tutorials. Second, we were able to implement a system of distance learning.
Our e-learning complex is the product for educational purposes. It is interactive and open. It comprises: electronic versions of textbooks and manuals, presentations, visual teaching aids (drawings, 3D models, posters), workshop, and electronic collections of tasks, step by step instructions, videos, additional information resources (catalogs, references, norms). All materials meet the curriculum and have been tested.
Now we introduce our course in the educational process. However, we can already draw some findings. When we use the special media resource we allow to reduce the time for learning and to explore more topics. The overall effectiveness of training becomes higher.
