Development of university information educational environment as a condition of improving educational-methodical work

Abstract: 

Introduction. At present, effective functioning of the information educational environment of an educational institution is becoming one of the most important conditions for successful competition, improving the quality of education and effective activity in the market of educational services. For this purpose, the influence of the informational educational environment of Ye.A.Buketov Karaganda State University (KSU) on the level and quality of educational and methodical work has been studied. Materials and Methods. The main research methods are the analysis of scientific literature devoted to the problem of informatization of education and formation of university information educational environment; generalization of normative and internal documentation at Ye.A Buketov Karaganda State University. Results. Various aspects of the concept of “information educational environment” have been analyzed in the article, the structure of the information educational environment of the university includes the following subsystems: material and technical and software, information technology, information and resource, methodological, organizational and personnel support has been found out as well. The influence of each subsystem on the quality of teaching and methodical work of academic staff and the university has been considered. The close connection and interdependence of all subsystems of the information educational environment have been revealed: the development of the subsystem of the material and technical and software support of the university influences the level of information technology support and the quality of the organizational support of the university. The level of staffing of the university has an impact on the content of methodological support and teaching. With the increasing competence of the staff, the efficiency of implementation and the quality of the teaching and methodical work are increased. Conclusion. The obtained results indicate that the formation and development of the information educational environment of the university increases the effectiveness of teaching and methodological work of academic staff.
